Paul Teti and Mark Roopenian to Head Leasing Activities for Normandy Real Estate Partners < Previous  |  Next >

Morristown, N.J. - April 19, 2012 — Normandy Real Estate Partners, one of the largest real estate developers, owners and operators of commercial office buildings nationally, today announced that Paul Teti and Mark Roopenian, both Senior Vice Presidents, will co-head the firm’s leasing activities.
 
Mr. Teti and Mr. Roopenian will continue to manage the leasing process, working with top landlord representation brokers to attract high-quality tenants to the Normandy portfolio. Both will remain actively involved in the entire leasing and marketing process, helping to ensure efficiency and responsive decision-making for tenants and brokers in each of Normandy’s core markets.

Mr. Teti is a Senior Vice President at Normandy and is responsible for managing the leasing activities for the New York Tri-State and Mid-Atlantic regions. He spent several years underwriting and closing acquisitions and financings as part of Normandy’s acquisitions team prior to taking on his role on the leasing team. Prior to joining Normandy, Mr. Teti was Vice President of Operations at 52 Transom Group, where he oversaw all interactions between U.S. sales and Chinese sourcing operations. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Sociology. In addition, Mr. Teti is a three-time member of the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team, competing in the Sydney, Athens and Beijing Games. As a member of the US National Team, Mr. Teti has also won 10 national championships and is a winner of three World Cup medals and a Pan American Games gold medal.
 
Mr. Roopenian, a Senior Vice President at Normandy, is responsible for managing development and leasing activities in the Massachusetts and California regions. Prior to joining Normandy, he oversaw the leasing activities in Boston for Broadway Partners. Previous to that he was a partner at The Chiofaro Company, a Boston-based firm where his responsibilities included leasing, asset management and property development. During his 23 year tenure there he led a team that executed hundreds of lease transactions, completed over one million square feet of ground-up development, and closed over $1 billion of construction and permanent financing for various projects. Mr. Roopenian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Boston College and was a professional football player in the National Football League before initiating his real estate career.
